With the continuing effort in assisting the Koontz Family with cancer treatment funding, Metro Baptist Church is hosting a special fundraising dinner and silent auction starting at 4:00 pm. The dinner will be at the cost of $6.00 a person and will be located in the church’s fellowship hall.
About Mrs. Koontz
Last March, one of Metro Baptist Church’s ladies, Mrs. Elena Koontz, was diagnosed with (then) Stage-II Breast Cancer. Since then, her condition has been updated to Stage-IV Breast Cancer. While the church family continues to pray and ask God to heal Mrs. Koontz, treatment options from a Cancer Treatment Center in Texas offer additional possibilities. This treatment, however, comes at a great financial burden to the family. As the treatment is still considered experimental, it is not covered by normal health insurance.
In an effort to assist the family raise the needed funds for this treatment, Metro Baptist Church has started accepting donations for the family. If you would like to help and be a blessing for the Koontz family, donation information can be found at ElenaKoontz.com.
